In order to ensure the correct position and even clearance between punch and die, the position of one part (punch or die) should be determined according to the drawing requirements when assembling the punch pin. (1) The upper die and lower die are installed by the light transmission method, and the light is illuminated by a light or flashlight. The light transmission is observed in the blanking hole of the lower die to determine the gap size and uniformity. Insert the punch into the corresponding cavity model hole to observe the tightness of punch and gasket. Gently tap the fixed plate with a hammer until the tightness of punch and gasket is consistent. After proper adjustment, tighten the upper die.
